Guidelines of Global Gaming HQ
Article I. Rules and Regulations
Section I. Code of Conduct
All GGHQ members will respect each other at all times. All members will be professional, courteous, polite, honest, patient, and loyal. All members will follow the GGHQ rules. These are the qualities we look for when considering a new recruit and members for promotion and leadership roles. If a member violates the code of conduct please report him/her to High Command immediately.
Section II. Site and Forum Rules and Regulations
No swearing or profanity on the forums or shoutbox. This includes abbreviations.
No sexually explicit topics, links, or videos on the forums.
No profane topics on the forums.
No spamming the forum or the shoutbox.
No disrespectful posts or personal messages on the forums.
No name calling whatsoever.
No flaming others on the forums.
* No putting others down for their personal beliefs (all members are expected to respect each other, regardless of race, religion, etc.)
No advertising other sites without a leader's permission.
No discussing personal problems you have with a fellow member or his/her post publicly on the forums. Instead, PM the member personally about your problem. If the problem persists, contact the leaders.
If you are going to be inactive or going to be away, you are required to post in the Away Board found in the News and Announcements section of the forums.
* Being a member of another clan is against the rules if the other clan supports a game that is officially supported by GGHQ. You are allowed to be community members on other websites.
Forum Moderators and Admins are to use their powers fairly. No unnecessary editing of another members profile or other unneeded changes.
All members must display their rank and the GGHQ tag before their names on Xfire. The GGHQ tag is GG | name.

No hacking whatsoever
No glitching in any server except for our own ONLY if it is set up as a private server with no other clans or players present and permission is given by a member Major or higher.
No teabagging.
No accusing fellow gamers of hacking unless you have credible proof.
No disobeying in-game server rules.
Any and all matches and clan events must be posted on the events section of the forums with an additional link to that post added to the Calendar.
When officially representing GGHQ, all members must display their rank and the GGHQ tag before their names in game. The GGHQ tag is GG | name.
Article II. Consequences
Section I. The Warning System
Minor Offenses = Verbal Warning via a Xfire message, PM, or in-game message
First Major Offense or Repeat Minor Offense = Written Warning via a PM
Second Major Offense = Written Warning via a PM + 3 day ban
Third Major Offense = Written Warning via a PM + 7 day ban
Fourth Major Offense = Written Warning via a PM + 30 day ban
Fifth Major Offense = Removal from GGHQ
Depending on the severity of the offense, members may also be demoted in addition to receiving a warning.
Minor offenses include excessive spamming of the forums/shoutbox, excessive swearing and insulting other clan members with ill intent.
Major offenses include blatant disrespect of other members, refusing to follow legitimate orders given by a higher ranking member, glitching or hacking in a public server, accusing others of hacking without proof, etc. Any misbehavior not mentioned here will be judged at the discretion of the High Command.
After receiving a ban the returning member will be on a probation period for 45 days after the end of the ban. During this probation no promotions will be issued to the member.
All disciplinary action should be documented by the High Command on the forums.
Section II. Causes for Discipline
Excessive swearing on supported game servers.
Swearing on the clan site.
Disrespecting a higher rank.
Getting legitimately banned from a server.
Getting GGHQ legitimately banned from a server.
Disrespecting another member.
Impersonating another member without his or her consent.
Hurting the clan reputation.
Not obeying site rules.
Not obeying server rules.
Not exhibiting the requirements necessary for your rank.
Not exhibiting a proper maturity level necessary to keep your rank.
Not exhibiting proper responsibility for your rank.
Glitching/hacking a server.
Intentionally abusing administrative rights.
Only Division Leaders and Leaders can issue demotions. If you feel you have been demoted unjustly, contact a Leader.
It is very important the clan members maintain the requirements of their rank once it has been reached and to show the level of maturity that got them there and to further that. Disciplinary action including demotion will be taken if necessary.
Division Leaders and Leaders also have the power to call meetings of the High Command and/or any and all members involved in a particular problem/issue/confrontation to discuss potential courses of action and/or disciplinary actions.
Article III. Ranks and Responsibilities
Founder (Fdr.)
The founder of the clan acts in the same manner as a Leader. In addition, the Founder has final say in all matters and veto power in the High Command.
Leader (Ldr.)
Leaders should be fully dedicated to running and constantly bettering the clan on and off the battlefield, as well as being one of the games elite players. They are responsible for administration items including the clan website and forums and clan servers. They seek to better the clan through proposing new ideas to the High Command and using their leadership skills to recruit, train and mentor new members. A leader must have had the rank of General for at least 3 months, and have had clan membership for at least 12 months and must obtain 100% of the High Command vote. Leaders also:
Determine allies and enemies (with approval from majors, colonels, and generals)
Attend to the general welfare of the members
Call mandatory meetings or practices
Promote or demote members (with approval from the groups above the group the person is getting promoted/demoted to)
General (Gen.)
Generals not only should be faithfully loyal to GGHQ, they should hold up the clans honor with pride. GGHQ Generals are masters of tactical warfare who are able to generate an original and intricate strategy which includes many possible options and is specific even to the players that are participating in it, including various possible outcomes. A General should be a team juggernaut, relentlessly destroying any and all enemies in the way. Generals should execute strategies without any blunders. Generals lead clan matches with excellent leadership and great knowledge of the enemy and follow other leaders as well. Generals also masterfully lead and support their teammates. Generals are masters of multiple types of weaponry. Generals show precise aim and can headshot from long range with minimal effort and command fear when he arrives on the battlefield. Generals can setup, organize and conduct clan matches, scrims and practices. In matches, Generals know the importance of squads and can command a squad and the squad leaders at the same time, while following the general strategy. To become a General, you must compete in 7 league matches and two tournaments as a Colonel. Generals should be fully dedicated to running and constantly bettering the clan on and off the battlefield. To be promoted to General, a member must have held the rank of Colonel for at least 9 months and had clan membership for at least 6 months and must obtain 80% of the High Command vote.
Colonel (Col.)
Colonels exhibit exceptional knowledge of tactical warfare in all of its aspects and exhibit excellent knowledge of medium-scale tactics as well as small-scale tactics and are able to implement the two with general ease. Colonels are masters of multiple weapons. A Colonel is able to decimate enemy forces single-handedly but is also able to lead a small or large squad to victory with ease. Colonels write entire strategies implementing the largest details to the smallest necessary and can lead a clan match with minimal difficulty. Colonels can setup, organize and conduct clan matches, scrims and practices. Colonels lead clan matches in the absence of Generals and Leaders. To become a Colonel, you have to lead a match and compete in at least 6 matches and one tournament as a Major as well as exhibiting the above stated requirements. To be promoted to Colonel, a member must have held the rank of Major for at least 2 months and had clan membership for at least 6 months and must obtain 75% of the High Command vote.
Major (Maj.)
Majors show an unwavering loyalty towards GGHQ. Majors exhibit a distinctive mastery of fundamental tactics as well as team support. Majors can easily and excellently form and lead small squads, with exceptional efficiency. Majors compose small scale tactics (single-squad sized) for GGHQ whenever they are needed as soon as possible. Majors have no difficulty following and executing orders during a match. Majors should be learning how to lead matches and scrims. Majors are capable of leading scrims, and are expected to lead matches in the absence of a higher rank. Majors should be a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, executing all of his shots with exceptional aim, scoring headshots at medium range with ease. A Major should be exceptional with at least one weapon class while also showing a mastery of the weapons of the secondary class. A Major knows how to anticipate the movements of his enemy and judge his shots accordingly. Majors should practice formulating solid medium-scale tactics (multi-squad tactics) to advance to the next rank. Majors exhibit great leadership and are examples on and off the battlefield. Majors can setup, organize and conduct clan matches, scrims and practices. Majors can lead matches in the absence of a higher. Majors display exceptional prowess on the battlefield and respects his clan mates and other fellow gamers. To become a Major a member must complete at least 5 matches as a Captain as well as exhibiting the above stated requirements. To be promoted to Major, a member must have held the rank of Captain for at least 2 months and had clan membership for at least 4 months, as well as obtaining 60% of the High Command vote.
Captain (Cpt.)
Captains exhibit a great knowledge of fundamental strategy, being able to discern when to use certain tactics to better the outcome of a battle. Captains are good squad mates. Captains should be mastering the art of supporting their teammates in attack and defense, whether it is by supplying ammunition, medical help, support or cover fire, or simply watching a squad mates back. Captains are proficient with secondary/special weapons, such as grenades and mines. Captains are continually developing excellent aim, hitting their target with most shots. Captains easily execute headshots at short and pointblank range. Captains are GGHQ examples, setting up scrims, Pwning on various servers while being respectful, loyal and mature. Captains are able to follow easily the directions given for matches. Captains are very active in the forums and should attend practices regularly. To become a Captain it is required that the Lieutenant have at least 4 matches and have Xfire, Ventrilo and a microphone as well as exhibiting the above stated requirements. As well, to be promoted to Captain, a member must have had the rank of Lieutenant for at least 1 month and had clan membership for at least 2 months and at least 50% of the High Command vote.
Lieutenant (Lt.)
Lieutenants show progress in the development of the fundamentals of tactical warfare, such as flanking, attacking, retreating, camping, etc. Lieutenants should continue to play actively with clan mates while displaying respect for fellow games and decent skill. Lieutenants are active in clan practices and scrims. Being a lieutenant requires the member to have Xfire and Ventrilo and a microphone while also being active in the forums as well as exhibiting the above stated requirements and being in 2 matches as a Sergeant.
Sergeant (Sgt.)
Sergeants show familiarity with their weapons, and are developing a fundamental understanding of tactical warfare. Sergeants are loyal to GGHQ and should attend practices regularly. Sergeants are required to have Xfire and Ventrilo and are required to be in 1 match as a Private.
Private (Pvt.)
Privates are active and are prepared for the call of duty. Privates show development since the day that they were recruited. Privates should be familiar with each of their weapons, learning how to aim and time their shots. Privates should have Xfire and should be becoming active on the forums.
Member
Members are active and demonstrate enough skill to be considered a full member of the clan. They have passed an entry test against a Division Leader to advance to this rank. Members should be becoming familiar with their weapons and practicing aiming and timing of shots. Xfire is required and Members should be start acquainting themselves with the forums
Promotions
GGHQ members are obliged to show their fellow members respect, especially those of higher ranks. No forms of disrespect will be tolerated.
Those members with the rank of Major and above become part of the GGHQ High Command and an automatic vote in all high command issues.
If you are a Major or higher in any division and you move to another division you will not be able to promote members in your new division if they fulfill the requirements above stated.
GGHQ members will be recognized on the forums and Xfire by the highest rank that they have received in any GGHQ division.
ALL PROMOTIONS REQUIRE HIGH COMMAND APPROVAL.
All members should be active on the Clan Forums. A member may not advance in rank if he or she is not active on forums. Activity on the forums is also taken into consideration for promotions.
For the ranks of Member to Lieutenant, a member must wait a minimum of 2 weeks between promotions. These promotions are issued by Division Leaders in consultation with at least one Clan Leader.
If you have received a rank in one division and you join another GGHQ division, you will start off with no rank in that division. You will still be recognized as the highest rank you have received in the clan, but will have to gain ranks in each new division you join. If a member wishes to transfer to another game division, a rank above Member may be issued. If the Division Leader(s) wishes to issue such a rank to a transferring member, it must be voted on by the High Command to 80% acceptance. The new rank should be no higher than Major.
All members must display their rank and clan tag of GGHQ in front of their names on xfire and ingame wherever possible. Those members wishing to not participate in the rank structure should still display the clan tag.
The minimum age to join GGHQ is 13. Exceptions must be unanimously approved by the High Command. There will be no exceptions for those younger than 12.
Division Leaders are members who have obtained the rank of at least Major and are designated by the HC to be responsible for maintaining and leading a game division. They show exceptional leadership qualities and are responsible for proposing and issuing promotions and demotions, organizing scrims and matches and helping in administering any leagues which the division is a part of. They are also responsible for testing and promoting new members from PHQ into the division in consultation with the Leaders as well as recruiting and training new members. Appointment of Division Leaders must be brought before High Command and obtain at least 75% of the vote.
Division Co-Leaders are members also who have attained the rank of at least Major and are responsible for assisting the leaders in coordinating matches. They also take a leadership position when the divisions current leader is gone, fulfilling the Division Leaders duties to the best of their abilities. They also must be approved by the High Command with a vote of at least 75%.
Article IV. Government
Section I. Voting
All GGHQ members who obtain the rank of Major or higher may vote on issues pertaining to the clan. Those members who have been away on a leave of absence or inactive for an extended period of time will not be allowed to vote until 2 weeks after their return.
The clan Leaders and the Division Leader must be consulted before any proposals can be brought before the High Command for member promotions. Clan issues must be reported as well to insure that all rules have been met and to help maintain and maximize a great ranking structure that will benefit the clan and the game. After an issue or proposal is brought forward, there will be 3 days of time during which discussion on the forums and xfire will be permitted. All issues will be voted on for a period of 4 days after discussion is complete. It is the members responsibility to ensure that they respond with their vote in time. In case of no responses after 4 days, the Leader(s) will make the decision.
If an issue is brought forward that is specific to a gaming Division, then only those members with the rank of Major and up who are a part of the Division may cast a vote, in addition to all Leaders.
All essential game issues must be voted on by High Command and receive a majority vote to get passed. (i.e. rank structure, leadership, etc.). All disciplinary issues will be dealt with by the Division Leader in consultation with the Leaders.
In the case of a tie, the Leaders and/or Founder will cast the deciding vote.
Section II. Activity
All members of GGHQ are expected to appear in clan tags at least once every two weeks on xfire. If a member is not seen for 8 weeks without notice, he/she will be removed from forums and the members list.
All members of the clan are expected to participate in the Clan Community forums and make at least approximately one post per month. Failure to do so could result in corrective action. Failure to remain active or give notice of extended absence will result in corrective action.
High Command members are required to play at least one game a week and view the forums as much as possible. High Command members that do not meet this requirement will have their ability to vote rescinded after one warning. This member's High Command status will be resumed once game activity is restored.
Article V. Agreement

GGHQ members will be recognized on the forums and Xfire by the highest rank that they have received in any GGHQ division.
ALL PROMOTIONS REQUIRE HIGH COMMAND APPROVAL.
All members should be active on the Clan Forums. A member may not advance in rank if he or she is not active on forums. Activity on the forums is also taken into consideration for promotions.
For the ranks of Member to Lieutenant, a member must wait a minimum of 2 weeks between promotions. These promotions are issued by Division Leaders in consultation with at least one Clan Leader.
If you have received a rank in one division and you join another GGHQ division, you will start off with no rank in that division. You will still be recognized as the highest rank you have received in the clan, but will have to gain ranks in each new division you join. If a member wishes to transfer to another game division, a rank above Member may be issued. If the Division Leader(s) wishes to issue such a rank to a transferring member, it must be voted on by the High Command to 80% acceptance. The new rank should be no higher than Major.
All members must display their rank and clan tag of GGHQ in front of their names on xfire and ingame wherever possible. Those members wishing to not participate in the rank structure should still display the clan tag.
The minimum age to join GGHQ is 13. Exceptions must be unanimously approved by the High Command. There will be no exceptions for those younger than 12.
Division Leaders are members who have obtained the rank of at least Major and are designated by the HC to be responsible for maintaining and leading a game division. They show exceptional leadership qualities and are responsible for proposing and issuing promotions and demotions, organizing scrims and matches and helping in administering any leagues which the division is a part of. They are also responsible for testing and promoting new members from PHQ into the division in consultation with the Leaders as well as recruiting and training new members. Appointment of Division Leaders must be brought before High Command and obtain at least 75% of the vote.
Division Co-Leaders are members also who have attained the rank of at least Major and are responsible for assisting the leaders in coordinating matches. They also take a leadership position when the divisions current leader is gone, fulfilling the Division Leaders duties to the best of their abilities. They also must be approved by the High Command with a vote of at least 75%.
Article IV. Government
Section I. Voting
All GGHQ members who obtain the rank of Major or higher may vote on issues pertaining to the clan. Those members who have been away on a leave of absence or inactive for an extended period of time will not be allowed to vote until 2 weeks after their return.
The clan Leaders and the Division Leader must be consulted before any proposals can be brought before the High Command for member promotions. Clan issues must be reported as well to insure that all rules have been met and to help maintain and maximize a great ranking structure that will benefit the clan and the game. After an issue or proposal is brought forward, there will be 3 days of time during which discussion on the forums and xfire will be permitted. All issues will be voted on for a period of 4 days after discussion is complete. It is the members responsibility to ensure that they respond with their vote in time. In case of no responses after 4 days, the Leader(s) will make the decision.
If an issue is brought forward that is specific to a gaming Division, then only those members with the rank of Major and up who are a part of the Division may cast a vote, in addition to all Leaders.
All essential game issues must be voted on by High Command and receive a majority vote to get passed. (i.e. rank structure, leadership, etc.). All disciplinary issues will be dealt with by the Division Leader in consultation with the Leaders.
In the case of a tie, the Leaders and/or Founder will cast the deciding vote.
Section II. Activity
All members of GGHQ are expected to appear in clan tags at least once every two weeks on xfire. If a member is not seen for 8 weeks without notice, he/she will be removed from forums and the members list.
All members of the clan are expected to participate in the Clan Community forums and make at least approximately one post per month. Failure to do so could result in corrective action. Failure to remain active or give notice of extended absence will result in corrective action.
High Command members are required to play at least one game a week and view the forums as much as possible. High Command members that do not meet this requirement will have their ability to vote rescinded after one warning. This member's High Command status will be resumed once game activity is restored.
Article V. Agreement
Section I. Terms of Agreement
By being a clan or community member of GGHQ or by participating on any one of GGHQ's servers or sites, you agree to subject yourself to all terms of the GGHQ Guidelines.
